Powerspeed Manifolds

Each individual tube that goes into making a POWERSPEED custom tubular manifold is hand-manipulated in one piece of tube wherever possible. We avoid using bits of pipe just bent, cut off and welded together at different angles - this risks premature failure at any of these welds and perhaps more importantly, bits of weld and even the welding rod itself sticking out inside can interrupt the flow.

We don't "just get a set of pipes down a gap" in the engine bay, which may get the exhaust out in a fashion, and may even look like a manifold of sorts. There are several companies who make and sell this type of thing and call them performance manifolds….. We don’t!

It is a popular misconception that huge, big-bore manifolds are best and sizes like 2" primaries crop up remarkably often. For custom cars or "posing" this is fine but unless you have a full-house turbo/supercharged engine delivering 400/500 H.P., you will probably find pipes of this caliber will drain away power, not to mention damage the wallet. It is most important that to obtain maximum performance from the manifold the bore size and individual pipe length must compliment your work, not pull against it.
